I’m new to Flex, where can I find documentation about deploying a Flex app on a web server in a DMZ talking to a java app on a Tomcat server inside the firewall?
Since Flex runs in the client’s Flash Virtual Machine, how can it make an http call to an ip address inside the firewall?

This would work the same way as any HTML / Ajax application. Whatever host the application is being served from should also expose HTTP based services for the back-end. Make sense?
