This week in Denver is going to be a total geek fest! I’m pretty excited about three great events:
- Monday Feb 15: Jason Huggins on Web-application testing with Selenium
- Tuesday Feb 16: Denver Tech Meetup
- Thursday Feb 18: Flex and The Cloud (I’m presenting at this one.)
There is a rumor that we might record a Drunk on Software episode after the event on Thursday. Apparently there are some people who disagree with my definition of “Flex app”. This could be the episode where we move from an Oprah style show to a Jerry Springer style of show. Sounds like fun to me. :)

“Geek Week” is a phrase I don’t take too kindly to. I moved from Phoenix to Boulder last year and wanted to visit Phoenix during a big tech event. Unfortunately, all the events were scheduled in the same week due to this thing called “Geek Week AZ”, and it was a week when I couldn’t make it. Additionally, if I’d come for just one or two events, I would have missed a lot of people because some people are busy and can’t make all the events if they’re so close together.
So please don’t try to organize something like this.
That said, thanks for letting me know about these three events! I might not be able to make any of them, but it’s the first I’ve heard of Agile Denver, which I’m very glad to hear about.
