Cool stuff Brad. If you want to use your own stuff rather than mine to check if it's Flex, you can use the swfdump application in the open source Flex SDK. But feel free to keep using my site if you want.

No worries, I just pointed my flex checker to .com and I am am good to go.
I am actually working on a version 2 of the flex checker. The first version didn't parse out swf files written into the DOM after the page loaded. I let you know when I am finished.

Hi Brad,

I made a change to the Apache mod_rewrite rule but I don't think it's fixed. I looked around and it doesn't seem like I can fix this. Sorry.

Serge,

The Census app should be fixed now.

Hey, there appears to be a bug in your .org to .com redirection with URL parameters getting re-encoded.

I noticed it when my Flex Checker page starting returning false for everything.

Paste this into your browser:
http://www.jamesward.org/is_it_flex/?url=te%20st (The %20 is a url encoded space obviously-- just for the sake of a simple example.)

And you getm redirected to here:
http://www.jamesward.com/is_it_flex/?url=te%2520st

Note the .com wasn't the only thing to change. The percent sign in the encoded space was double-encoded to %2520

My obvious solution is to point http://www.bradwood.com/is_it_flex/ to the .com, but I thought I would warn you since that probably isn't the desired behavior.

Thanks.

~Brad

P.S. Have you checked out ColdFusion yet?
